Executive Director/Producer — Ingrid Gavshon
Ingrid Gavshon, executive producer and director established Angel Films in 1996. The company specialises in producing high quality international and local factual programmes for Discovery Channel (DCI), ARTE, YLE - Finland, SBS, Humanistische Omroep Stichting, Catalonia Television, The KRO, IKON Television, E-TV, and the SABC.

The program explore cultural, political, and social issues. Gavshon has made 15 films about Nelson Mandela (the official SABC Television Obituary Series), Truth and Reconciliation, The Death Penalty, Orphans, HIV/Aids, Abortion, Taxi Violence, Crime, Land Rights, Refugees as well as Art and culture film series such as Mamelodi Angel - Vusi Mahlasela and New Conversations.

Gavshon works as Executive Producer, Producer, and Archive Researcher for a number of documentary and current affair programmes for the BBC, CBS Sixty Minutes, Ikon Television, and other European and British companies.

Producer/Director/Writer — Carolyn Projansky
Carolyn started making films in 1993 in the US, Ukraine and South Africa. From 2000-03 she lived in South Africa, studied for a masters in South African history and created an independent documentary (The Fast Lane) that aired on South African television. In the US, Carolyn produced, directed or wrote films for Maryland Public Television, the Smithsonian Institution, US government agencies such as USAID and Defense Department, as well as numerous corporate and nonprofit clients. She consulted on program development (the Discovery Channel), acquisition (National Geographic Channels International) and scripting (SABC Education). Her awards include a CINE Golden Eagle, a "Chris," (Columbus International Film Festival), a Silver "Create" and others. Carolyn recently passed away as a result of a long struggle with cancer. Her vision, energy, and creativity will be wholeheartedly missed.
